We believe that you have 3 options:
Working with contractors who have a PSC is what Pulse Accounting was created to do and does well. Running payroll for contractors is our bread and butter. We already have the systems and capability to undertake all the responsibilities of the ‘Fee Payer’ under the terms of the new rules. This ensures compliance for you and the contractor.
Amulet is essentially an Umbrella company for PSC’s caught by the new rules so you simply pay Pulse, and we pay the PSC.
Reasons to choose Amulet:
✔ Our seamless service removes the risk and challenges to your agency
✔ No additional cost to your agency
✔ Compliant solution to the new off-payroll changes for both agencies and contractors
✔ We ensure compliance for every part of the supply chain
✔ We work independently of the contractor’s limited company
✔ We will assess the working arrangements and establish if it is “in” or “out” of employment legislation
✔ If caught within the regulations then we will calculate and pay away the necessary PAYE and NICs deductions
✔ We will undertake the correct reporting under RTI
✔ We understand the differences between government contracts vs private sector contracts
✔ We are experienced contractor accountants who are there to support you 24/7
